LEKI was built on the belief that electric mobility shouldn't be out of reach for most Australians, so we brought a value-priced product to market to lead the mass adoption of electric two wheelers.

The electric options available were either underpowered or out of reach for most Australians. So they stopped waiting for someone else to build the bike Australia actually wanted.

Today the bikes are assembled at our HQ in Totness, twenty minutes south-east of Adelaide. Frames get finished locally. Battery packs are balanced and stress-tested one at a time. Every bike is road-tested on the same Adelaide, SA twisties you'll ride it on — because if it can't handle the hills, it doesn't leave the workshop.

Our showroom on Ebenezer Place in the Adelaide CBD is where most people meet the bikes for the first time. Walk in, take your time, ask the awkward questions. We're there to help you discover electric — not to give you a sales pitch.

The opportunity

The future of automotive mobility is electric.

McKinsey projects the two-wheeler mobility market will reach $218 billion by 2029, with 30% of that market forecast to be electric — growing at a CAGR of 14.8% through 2026. Australia is following the same trajectory, with electric motorcycle sales forecast to hit $480 million by 2029.

Right now only a small slice of the market is electrified, and accessibility is throttled by high prices. LEKI exists to put full-sized electric motorcycles in Australian driveways without the imported luxury markup.

We design and assemble here, with full road approvals already in place. Our first model is on the road now, proving reliability and market fit with real riders — not press releases.

As the first-to-market affordable electric motorcycle in Australia, LEKI is positioned to grow fast alongside demand. Contract manufacturing and simple onshore assembly keep the bikes attainable and the quality consistent, batch after batch.

eBike vs. ICE bike

Change the way people move.

LEKI is making electric ownership achievable for casual riders and enthusiasts alike — high value, easily accessible, and decarbonising the market. With design, manufacture and approvals in place, LEKI isn't just a concept. The bikes are ready to ride today.

Impact per bike
546
kg CO2 abated / year
5,199
average km / bike / year

Based on 52 x 10.5kg average emissions per 100km for an equivalent ICE bike.

At scale
15,561,000
kg CO2 saved annually

That's the electricity use of 3,028 homes for one year — or 35,992 barrels of oil not consumed. Replace ICE bikes with electric alternatives and the numbers get real, fast.
