The Surge,
in Racing Red.
Same 170 km/h. Same 340 Nm of silent, instant grunt. Now in a deep gloss red you'll never lose in a car park. Ten bikes, one run — and the waitlist opens now.
Ten bikes. No reruns.
Deep gloss red, not a wrap
Three-stage automotive paint laid over the same trellis frame. Metal flake in the sun, wine-dark in the shade. This is painted steel, not a vinyl sticker.
Same Surge underneath
10 kW brushless hub, 340 Nm from zero, dual-channel ABS, up to 160 km of range. The red changes nothing about the grunt — it just makes sure everyone sees it.
One run. No reruns.
Ten bikes, one production run, no second batch. When they're gone, they're gone — the only way in is the waitlist.

Same Surge.
Different skin.
Nothing mechanical changes. The Racing Red edition is the full E1 Surge — 10 kW hub motor, dual-channel ABS, in-tank Type 2 charging, heated seat and grips, up to 160 km of range. Just in a colour that turns heads at every set of lights.

Straight answers.
How many are being made?
Ten units, one production run. Once the run is allocated, that's it — no second batch.
How much will it cost?
Pricing starts at $13,999 plus stamp duty and on-roads — a $1,000 premium over the standard Surge for the three-stage paint.
Can I ride it on my Ls or Ps?
Yes. The Racing Red Surge is the same LAMS-approved bike as the standard model — legal on a learner or provisional licence in every Australian state and territory.
When do deliveries start?
The first allocations open to waitlist members ahead of the public release. You'll get a call or email to lock in your deposit before bikes go live on the site.
What if I change my mind?
Joining the waitlist is free and puts you under no obligation. When your allocation comes up, you choose whether to lock in a deposit or pass.
*Ride-away pricing varies by state. Registration and stamp duty are calculated at handover.
