Straight answers.

Does a LAMS approval mean I can ride it on my learner permit?

Yes — the E1 Bolt is LAMS approved nationwide, so it is legal on a learner or provisional motorcycle licence in every state and territory. You still need to hold the licence itself.

Do I need a special licence because it's electric?

No. It is treated as a motorcycle. Power output keeps it inside LAMS limits, so the same learner rules apply as any other LAMS bike.

What does it cost to register?

It varies by state. We keep a current state-by-state registration cost table on the Support page so there are no surprises at the counter.

How do I charge it if I rent?

Standard wall socket via the in-tank Type 2 port. No installer, no wallbox, no landlord conversation required.

Ready when you are.

Get your licence sorted, then get on one. The Ride Crew will talk you through rego and charging without the sales script.

*Ride-away pricing varies by state. Registration and stamp duty are calculated at handover.
